Port Macquarie is the Regional Hub of New South Wales’ beautiful Mid North Coast. Voted as the best climate in Australia, Port Macquarie enjoys a year round average temperature of 27 degrees. One hour by plane from Sydney and Brisbane and an easy 4 hour drive to Sydney makes Port Macquarie a great destination for friends and family to visit.

Garden Village is centrally located with access by foot, car or bus to many local shopping destinations, clubs, fishing spots and beaches. Close by is the local Base Hospital as well as plenty of choice for other health services.

With over 27 years of experience in the aged care and health environment, reporting to the Board of Directors, Craig provides strategic and operational leadership to Garden Village. “Garden Village is a premier and leading aged care and retirement living provider in the Hastings. Our care, staffing and support to all of our residents is at an unsurpassed level, and the Board of Directors and I are passionate at ensuring we provide the highest level of person centred care and support to residents and families”.

Project Manager
Tim Everson

Joining Garden Village in 2004 as General Manager, Tim came with many years of experience locally in health and acute care management. After 14 years of strategic and operational leadership at Garden Village Tim has now assumed the role of Project Manager, focusing his efforts on the further growth and development of the organisation, in particular managing the development of The Cascades, our new 52 apartment retirement living complex.

Director of Care
Vikki Dobbyns

Vikki is a clinical leader with 30 years’ experience in the health industry, focusing the last 13 years in Residential and Aged Care. Vikki is a Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist with a passion for delivering person centred care to our most vulnerable. Joining Garden Village in 2015, Vikki is responsible for the care services for our aged care facility and care coordination and clinical support for our retirement community.

Operations Manager
Cassie Simadas

Cassie joined our team in 2016 after 12 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and Administration Management. As Operations Manager Cassie is responsible for our Retirement Community, Sales and Marketing as well as support services within the organisation. With a strong background in customer services, Cassie brings a customer centric approach to her role .
