Wintergarden Hostel is a commonwealth government certified and accredited aged care facility providing residential care. Entry requires approval from the Area Health Service’s Aged Care Assessment Team (A.C.A.T). It accommodates 44 residents in 35 single rooms and 5 double rooms for couples.
The Hostel includes an activity room, a quiet reading room and a central dining room surrounded by well maintained gardens.
Wintergarden Hostel is part of the Garden Village complex which includes a heated swimming pool, coffee shop, community centre etc. Our own Village bus for outings.
NOTICE: This facility does not have a fire sprinkler system installed in accordance with the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2000. This Regulation requires a fire sprinkler system to be installed in this facility by 1 September 2014.
Other convenient services include:
- A doctor visits Wintergarden Hostel every Friday.
- General items including papers, magazines, personal items can be purchased and delivered from the Garden Village General Store Monday to Friday.
- The Garden Village Hair Dressing Salon staff visits the hostel weekly.
