Westerweller hostel is a commonwealth government certified and accredited aged care facility providing residential care. Entry requires approval from the Area Health Service’s Aged Care Assessment Team (A.C.A.T). It accommodates 62 residents in 52 single rooms and 5 double rooms for couples.
The Westerweller Hostel is part of the Garden Village complex which includes coffee shop, community centre, heated swimming pool, activity room, solarium/lounge, a quiet reading room, a central dining room, a large secure internal courtyard with gardens, decking and pergola.
We have our own Village bus for outings.
Other convenient services include:
- A doctor visits every Tuesday in the Westerweller surgery.
- General items including papers, magazines personal items can be purchased and delivered from the Garden Village General Store Monday to Friday.
- The Garden Village Hair Dressing Salon staff visits the hostel weekly.
NOTICE: This facility does not have a fire sprinkler system installed in accordance with the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2000. This Regulation requires a fire sprinkler system to be installed in this facility by 1 September 2014.
